

Artistic Statement
I trained as a Sculpture Conservator working on classical and modern stone sculpture in public and private collection all over the country.
Clients, including The British Museum, The V&A Museum, English Heritage, National Trust and private clients.
Working on ancient and historical sculpture from the Greek collections to modern forms has helped to shape my current work.
After Training to be a teacher at Warwick University. I know teach specialist workshops in carving, clay modelling and plaster construction at my studio at Burghley House Stamford.
My work has developed from geometric and natural patterns and themes.
Drawing and developing maquettes to analyse form and the concept of symmetry
I am interested in the geometry of sculpture, the balance that occurs in nature and the universe.
The investigation of scientific and artistic dialogue, understanding where, science, maths and art merge.
